TR It was the first time that I was attending a retreat at the Divine Retreat Centre, Kerala, and I came with both expectation and knee pain that had troubled me for the past two months. The pain made walking difficult, and I had not been able to kneel down, even during prayer. I was on medication. During the Physical Healing Adoration, as I sat in the presence of the Eucharistic Lord, the priest spoke a simple but life-giving truth: “Jesus died for your sins.” In that moment, something stirred deep within me. I got renewed from within and felt engulfed with a powerful sense of peace, strength, and healing. I knelt before Jesus and to my amazement, I felt no pain. It was not only a physical healing but also healing which has taken place within me as well. “BELOVED, I PRAY THAT ALL MAY GO WELL WITH YOU AND THAT YOU MAY BE IN GOOD HEALTH, AS IT GOES WELL WITH YOUR SOUL” (III JN1:2).

For over a year, I suffered from arthritis, enduring severe pain in my knees and relying on medication just to find relief. The pain weighed heavily on my daily life, making even simple movements like bending my knees difficult and discouraging. During the Physical Healing Adoration at the retreat in August 2025, the priest invited us to test our healing and move our joints. In faith, I tried and to my amazement, I could bend my knees freely, without any pain at all. The pain that had burdened me for so long was completely gone. Jesus has healed me! I lift my heart in thanksgiving and praise to Him for touching me with His healing love and restoring me. All glory belongs to our Lord and Savior, who makes the broken whole again. “HE HEALS THE BROKENHEARTED AND BINDS UP THEIR WOUNDS” (PS 147:3).

B efore embarking on my annual retreat, my heart was burdened with insecurity and fear concerns about my own future and the future of my children weighed heavily upon me. My physical struggles with obesity and difficulty in walking only deepened this sense of helplessness. Yet, in the sacred moment of inner healing adoration led by Fr. Michael Payyapilly VC, the Lord Jesus Christ reached into the depths of my brokenness. His presence became for me the living fulfillment of His promise: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28). In that encounter, the peace of Christ flooded my soul. The assurance of His providence dispelled my fears, and His consolation reminded me that I am not alone for He walks with me, and He guards the future of my children. What once seemed uncertain is now secure, for we are sheltered under the wings of the Almighty. I proclaim with gratitude: my children and I are blessed in the Lord. His love has lifted my spirit, His healing touch has renewed my strength, and His presence has become my refuge. Thank You, Jesus, for your comforting love, your healing mercy, and your abiding presence that transforms fear into faith and despair into hope. “НЕ WILL COVER YOU WITH HIS PINIONS, AND UNDER HIS WINGS YOU WILL FIND REFUGE; HIS FAITHFULNESS IS A SHIELD AND BUCKLER” (PS 91:4).

Thave attended several retreats at Divine Retreat Centre. For the past Lone year, I had been suffering from severe back pain, which made it difficult for me to sit for long periods. To manage the pain, I began doing back exercises for a few months. During the first two days of the retreat in August 2025, I was unable to sit for extended periods due to the pain. After making my confession, I began to feel a gradual relief. Then, during the Physical Healing Adoration, my Lord Jesus touched me. I was completely healed and totally relieved of all back pain. Thank you Jesus! “THE LORD PASSED BEFORE HIM, AND PROCLAIMED, “THE LORD, THE LORD, A GOD MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS, SLOW TO ANGER, AND ABOUNDING IN STEADFAST LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS” (EXD 34:6).

During my retreat at Divine Retreat Centre in October 2025, my soul was pierced with sorrow as I learned that my brother was preparing to dissolve the sacred covenant of his marriage. With tears and a contrite heart, I lifted my anguish before the Lord, imploring Him-who joined man and woman as one flesh in the sacrament of matrimony to heal what was broken and restore what seemed lost. In His boundless mercy, Christ, the Bridegroom of the Church, heard my plea. I rejoice in the wondrous news: my brother and his wife have been reconciled, their union renewed by the grace of God. Truly, the Lord has shown Himself as the Divine Physician, binding up wounds and breathing peace into our family. I bow in thanksgiving before Jesus, our Prince of Peace, and I glorify the Father who makes all things new through the power of the Holy Spirit. May their marriage now stand as a living witness to the indissoluble love of Christ for His Church. All glory, honour, and praise be to God forever! “FOR YOU, O GOD, HAVE HEARD MY VOWS; YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THE HERITAGE OF THOSE WHO FEAR YOUR NAME” (PS 61:5)

In August 2025, I was blessed to attend my very first retreat at the Divine Retreat Centre. Leading up to this retreat, I had been struggling with persistent back pain for several months. Each time I lifted something heavy or carried out my daily work, the discomfort reminded me of my weakness. It began to weigh on me not only physically but also emotionally, affecting my strength and routine. During the retreat, I opened my heart in a sincere confession. In that moment, I felt a gentle shift within me a lightness, as though the burden I had been carrying was being lifted. Later, during the Physical Healing Adoration, the Lord touched me in a way I cannot fully describe. His presence was so real, so powerful, that I knew something extraordinary was happening. My back, once a source of pain and limitation, was healed completely. I stand today as a witness to God’s unfailing love and mercy. What medicine could not accomplish, His grace fulfilled in an instant. My heart overflows with gratitude, and I proclaim with joy: Thank You, Jesus, for your healing touch and boundless compassion! “THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU, AND YOU HAVE ONLY TO BE STILL” (EXD 14:14).

Nine years ago, I attended a retreat at Divine. At that time, I was suffering from severe knee pain that had greatly affected my daily life. The pain was so intense that I could not kneel down. During the Physical Healing Adoration in August 2025, something truly miraculous happened. I encountered the healing power of Jesus in a profound way, and I was completely relieved of my pain. From that moment onward, I have been able to kneel down without discomfort and without any support something I had not been able to do for a very long time. I also wish to testify about the Sacrament of Confession. After making my Confession, I felt light, joyful, and renewed. This retreat blessed me with both physical healing and spiritual well-being. It strengthened my faith and filled me with deep gratitude for God’s mercy and power. As Scripture reminds us: “FOR NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD” (LK 1:37).

am a nurse, and for several days I was suffering from severe swelling Lin both my feet. The pain and discomfort made it difficult even to stand or walk. But during the Holy Mass at the retreat, the healing power of Jesus touched me deeply. In an instant, the swelling in both my legs completely disappeared! I was totally healed every trace of pain and swelling vanished. I praise and thank Jesus with all my heart for His miraculous healing and mercy. All glory and honour to our Lord Jesus Christ! “TO THE KING OF THE AGES, IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE, THE ONLY GOD, BE HONOR AND GLORY FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN” (I TIM 1:17).
